Post-Sprint Postcard #001

Greetings!

We’ve been hard at work on the Kaipod* app, and we’re excited to share what's come to life in the past two weeks.

A short clip from Young Frankenstein. Dr. Frankensteen, played by Gene Wilder, tears off his procedural goggles and shouts "It's alive" with manic glee.

01. Replay

Users can set Kaipod to capture and save your footage in the background as they play, then review, edit, and share clips with viewers and friends on the Kaipod feed (and wherever else they want).

02. Feed

The Kaipod feed will update in real time, serving up the latest clips shared by users’ friends and other followed accounts. Here’s our global feed in action:

03. Overlay

The Kaipod overlay can deliver real-time messages and status updates from friends. We’re looking forward to sharing other overlay features soon!

04. Machine Learning

We’re excited and curious about what's possible when play and machine learning intersect. Right now, we can use the power of ML in the KaiPod to apply wild effects to footage as it’s being captured.

Here, our ML model generates an image based on its own conception of what a Minecraft world looks like. Adjustable parameters allow KaiPod users to skip across realities and get a glimpse of many possible worlds.

‘Til next time,

Kaimerra.
